Hope Pregnancy Support Centre

Who We Are

Hope’s Mission

Hope demonstrates Christ’s love in offering emotional, educational, and practical support during and after pregnancy.

Hope’s Vision

To be known as a valuable community support for pregnancy and parenting care.

Who we are

Hope offers a safe, welcoming, confidential and judgment-free environment. We are here to listen to your story, support you on your journey, and assist you in meeting your needs. You will receive fact-based non-sensationalized information and unconditional support regarding the various decisions you are facing, from compassionate and caring people who truly want to help you.  We provide the emotional and practical support you need when facing an unexpected pregnancy, a pregnancy loss, need support for parenting, life skills or healthy relationships, or would like access to our Care Closet

We are not a medical facility.  Our support is meant to compliment, but not replace, your medical professional’s care.  We are not an abortion clinic and do not refer for abortions. We are not an adoption agency or facilitate adoptions.

We are a Christian non-profit funded through individuals, churches, and businesses. As a Christian centre, our team of staff, board members and volunteers are committed to honesty, integrity and respect for all people. Our desire is to be tangible representatives of Christ’s love to those in our community. If we have your permission to do so, we would love to share our faith with you.

Meet our Team:

Elizabeth Entz: Executive Director

Elizabeth has a background working in the non-profit sector for 30+ years.  Growing up in an abusive home that ultimately ended with her parent’s divorce, mentoring young adults on how to make healthy relationship and life choices, and walking the difficult journey of pregnancy loss are just some of the life experiences she brings with her.  Her joy is to work alongside others and help however she can.

Our Volunteers

Hope relies on our amazing volunteers to support our clients.  From many varied backgrounds and career fields, our volunteers set aside their professional “hats” to come alongside clients and support them for as long as the client needs our help.

We currently have 17 volunteers who give of their time as Client Advocates, Care Closet staff, board members, cleaning or maintaining our space, and looking after our bookkeeping needs.  We also have volunteers who help us with fundraising campaigns, and one time projects. If you think you would like to volunteer with us, please give us a call.

Our Board of Directors

Brendon Marsden, Krista Demerji, Peter Kropf and Sheri Martin
